The "SKANDI " is latest edition to the Symmetry Spey reel series; a 4"x1 1/2" with a 1" spool gap. I received many requests for a lighter model spey reel with less line capacity for 12/13 foot spey incorporating Scandinavian spey line systems . So I went back to the drawing board of my original reels and started erasing. In the end, it is still functional, rugged and very pleasing to the eye and a well suited reel for that 13 foot rod.
